How do I convert mg/g to mg per pouch?
Multiply a label’s milligrams per gram by the weight of a pouch in grams to calculate nominal milligrams per pouch. Divide milligrams per pouch by weight to reverse the calculation. These units describe product contents. They do not tell you how much nicotine your body absorbs or establish a medical dose.

Why do labels differ?
Milligrams per gram expresses concentration; milligrams per pouch expresses an amount for that pouch. Keep the weight and units alongside your calculation. The result is nominal strength, not absorbed nicotine.
Worked example: 12 mg/g × 0.5 g = 6 mg per pouch. Reverse: 6 mg per pouch ÷ 0.5 g = 12 mg/g. These are invented arithmetic inputs, not a product listing or a strength recommendation.

What should I avoid inferring?
Do not use this result to choose medication, compare medical risk or select a stronger product. Missing or ambiguous label weight means the calculation cannot establish a per-pouch amount.
