Which Uncanned plan should I choose?
Uncanned offers three ways to start: cut down gradually, quit today, or set a quit date within seven days. Choose the path that matches your immediate intention. These are ways to organize your next steps, not a medical assessment or a promise that one approach will work better.

How do the paths differ?
| Your intention | App path | What to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Space use before stopping | Cut down gradually | Current count and waking hours |
| Start without a taper | Quit today | Your response to familiar triggers |
| Prepare for a specific start | Set a quit date | A date within seven days |
How do I choose?
Write down whether you intend to stop now, prepare for a date, or reduce first. Then enter your routine honestly. The gradual plan uses current use, strength and waking hours.
Worked example: a Monday plan start can use a quit date later that week. Write “prepare my after-work routine on Tuesday” beside the date.
What should I avoid assuming?
Projected dates are planning estimates. They are not guarantees, and app options do not establish comparative effectiveness.
Read cold turkey or taper for a practical decision table. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about treatment questions.
