How do I use Ride It Out?
Ride It Out is a three-minute guided breathing session with Pip. Follow the on-screen rhythm, optionally rate your craving before and after, and finish whenever you need to. Three minutes describes the session length. It does not mean a craving will end or that medical support is unnecessary.
General information for adults 18+; not medical advice. Health content has not been clinically reviewed.
How do I use the session?
- Open Ride It Out when you want a pause.
- Follow four seconds in and six seconds out.
- Add optional before-and-after craving ratings.
- Finish or end early; ending early still saves the session.
Worked example: after lunch, open the session instead of immediately following your usual routine. A rating before and after is a record of that moment, not a clinical score.
What does it not do?
The timer does not predict craving duration. Pip is an animated companion, not conversational AI. Uncanned does not diagnose or treat dependence.
