How does Uncanned’s gradual plan set gaps?

The Spacer starts from waking minutes divided by starting pouches per day. It then grows the planned gap every two plan days, working toward a smaller allowance and a quit window. The app uses your routine and logs, so projected dates are estimates rather than instructions or promised outcomes.

What is the formula?

Starting gap = waking minutes ÷ starting pouches per day. The gap grows by 15% every two plan days, or 10% for users classified by the app as high or very high dependence. Pace can be adjusted.

Worked example: 12 pouches, awake 07:00–23:00, means 960 ÷ 12 = 80 minutes. Standard gap steps are 80, 92, 105.8 and 121.67 minutes. Each step lasts two plan days. This illustrates planning math, not medical guidance.

What happens at the end?

The schedule works toward an allowance of three or fewer per day and includes a five-day quit window.

Does an unlock mean I should use?

No. “Unlock” means the planned interval passed; it is not an instruction to use nicotine. Logging is never blocked.

What changes after a slip?

Two or more slips in one taper day can create a two-day progression hold. Restarting creates a fresh taper from recent use while retaining history.
